Colin Roberts

graduated Otis School of Art and Design in 2001. His work consists of sculpture, paintings and installation that explore various themes of the human condition. The pieces evoke mined cultural imagery from both past and present, and are obscured in strange and fantastical ways stemming from interest in various subjects. Holograph Pillows, Bubblewrap Cubes and Tiny Men on Tits are some of the surreal creations.  The art is a careful balance of culture, humor and technical feat. Through this, the work crosses significant cultural, social and psychic boundaries. Colin's work is exhibited internationally and is included in numerous private collections worldwide. His work has also been utilized in conjunction with some of the world's most renowned artists and designers, including Maison Martin Margiela and Johnston Marklee Architects. Colin lives and works in Los Angeles.
